they can???!? wow! amazing to imagine, it would be something beautiful to see. these pictures are beautiful joana - especially the one with the bridge, second to last. there seems to be a lot to fall in love with where you come from :)
thank you all! peacocks do fly. as i was taking these photos, i heard another peacock, but couldn't see him anywhere. i looked around and everyone sitting at the tables was looking up, at the trees, pointing. and there he was. a male peacock sitting in the tree. soon after that i saw a friend of his taking off from the ground to join him. and then i learned: peacocks do fly.
what a lovely post! my best friend loves peacocks, she has their feathers all over her house. but i think that's supposed to be bad luck. lovely colours!
These are so so gorgeous, i love peacocks but i can't get over the fact how cool it is to have peacocks roaming around while you're having a coffee or something. ahh :) i would be ecstatic and so amused!

ReplyDeletehello :) thank you for stopping by my blog. I have run into yours a few weeks ago and thought it was really worth following.
ReplyDeletepeacocks are beautiful, aren't they? my grandpa used to keep a few peacocks in his garden a long time ago :)
I've never seen a peacock up close like that. I didn't know they can fly either. Ha! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love how you capture the details!
