the weekends are filled with walks by the river and through the city and lifes seems so nice.
i still have times where i feel completely like a tourist on holidays :)
and then there is that fatigue from working all day and commuting early in the morning and late in the day.
still everytime i go to work i keep my head up, looking at all the beautiful architecture, gardens and places paris has to offer.
everyday i find a new romantic passage or a detail that intrigues me. and everyday i wish i had brought my camera with me.

i still have two rolls to develop, but at the time being i'm counting pennies... : (

Where do you get your film developed? I'm moving to Paris in two months and already scouting out places to buy film and process it, so if you have any recommendations that would be wonderful.

    1. let me know when you get here!

so far i've only developd one roll - at nation photo, just because it's the nearest 'cheap' place to develop...

but both sudani and tiphaine told me the cheapest places are nation photo (http://www.nationphoto.fr/) and negatifplus (http://negatifplus.com/Laboratoire-photo-professionnel)

      hope this helps :)

  2. Lovely picture! Moving to Paris is such a fascinating experience - I've been here for almost six months now and I still can't help myself wanting to take pictures of absolutely everything... Like you say, there are so many beautiful details!

    1. hello fellow parisian!

yes! one good thing about shooting film is that you think twice about shooting... if i usually carried a digital with be i'd go bonkers...!

  3. dear Joana, I really hope you will find an affordable place where to develop your rolls: Paris is such a big city, they must have some affordable labs! while you are searching for one, keep on looking around at the beautiful things! :-)

i just have to find a cheaper place, although for paris, the place i went to isn't all that expensive... but since i'm only doing an internship... i'm broke all the time :(

  8. Can't help but think I'll be in the same position about film and development in a few months ! How frustrating when you have some rolls waiting patiently to be developed !
